Printer / Copier How-to Guide
Overview
The district has implemented a new cloud-based secure printing system using Konica Minolta copiers. All staff now have access to a single universal printer called FJUHSD Secure Print
This guide explains how to:
Understand the differences between local and secure printers
Print to the FJUHSD Secure Print queue
Retrieve jobs using your staff PIN
Identify where you can retrieve your print jobs
Understanding the Two Printer Types

FJUHSD Secure Print
Available to all Teachers and Staff.
Cloud-based and available at all district locations.
Requires login via PIN to release jobs.
Ideal for confidential printing or printing across campuses.

Local Konica Printer (example: "Konica C360i - Admins Office”
Available only to select staff
Prints directly without PIN or authentication.
Only available at that specific location
Printing to FJUHSD Secure Print

When printing from any district device (e.g. Windows, Mac), you will see a new printer installed: FJUHSD Secure Print

Navigate to the printer icon in the top bar of your MacBook (if not available, please contact your site tech or District tech)
Click Login

Select Login via Microsoft Entra ID (If prompted, use your Google credentials)

You are ready to print

To print from a document:
File → Print or command + P
Select the FJUHSD Secure Print option
Releasing Your Print Job at a Konica Copier
To retrieve your job:
Go to any District Konica Copier.
Tap the touchscreen to begin.
Select the “SAFEQ Cloud Secure” option

Enter your 5-digit PIN when prompted to do so

Select your job from the list
Tap Print
Finding your Pin
Your PIN is your employee ID number, padded with 1 or 2 zeros at the beginning to make it 5 digits total.

Examples:
If your employee ID is 1234, your PIN is 01234
If your employee ID is 567, your PIN is 00567
Important Notes for Teachers
Teachers will only see FJUHSD Secure Print
Jobs can be picked up from ANY copier or printer labeled KONICA on ANY campus
This ensures Consistent Access and minimizes location-based limitations
Tips and Troubleshooting
Nothing Prints?
Check if you selected FJUHSD Secure Print and released the job at a copier.
PIN not working?
Confirm your ID and try adding a zero or two at the front to make 5 digits.
Job not listed?
Check if the document was sent to the correct printer.
